What wood would you choose?

You can choose from six different types of wood for your window shutters. Give us your specifications and budget and we can advise you on the most cost-effective choice.

 

Sumatra

Manufactured in FSC certified White Teak, it is the finest quality timber with tight grains and high dimensional stability, making it an ideal wood for shutters.

Fiji

A beautiful linear grain when stained and also ideal for painted shutters, giving a flat and uniform finish.

Java

Manufactured from ABS (a hard, lightweight plastic) it is hardwearing, making it ideal for commercial situations, and also for bathrooms as it is 100% waterproof.

Cuba

Combines a robust mdf frame with the lightness of hardwood panels.

Bermuda

Coated in a polypropylene sleeve it is very hardwearing and available in a wide range of painted colours.

Antigua

Durable composite wood wrapped in tough, water resistant polyurethane, resistant to scuffs, cracking, fading.
